WDM OLP Board Protection Experience

The OLP board with the dual-selection function is used. The originator uses the splitter for dual-issue, and the receiving end uses the optical switch to select the receiver to protect the service.




Receiver optical port on the receiving end. The OLP board receives the channel signal sent by the active channel and its corresponding OTU board.

 

 Receiver optical port on the receiving end. The OLP board receives the channel signal sent by the alternate channel and its corresponding OTU board.

 

 The OLP board passes one of the two identical optical signals output by the station through the main fiber (channel) to the corresponding OTU board IN port of the main channel.

 

 The OLP board passes one of the two identical optical signals output by the station through the spare fiber (channel) to the corresponding OTU board IN port of the alternate channel.

 

 The transmitting optical port of the receiving end. The OLP board sends the strobe optical signal in the main and backup optical fibers (channel) to the customer equipment of the local station, and connects the IN port of the local customer equipment in the WDM system.

 

The OLP board receives the optical signal from the OUT port of the client device.
